If you have false information or identity theft information on your credit report, do not, and I repeat, DO NOT, hire a credit repair company to fix it. More often these companies do a poor job of it and end up costing you valuable rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Better to handle it youself, which is not at all difficult.
