The other reason is that if you're trading too much means that you're probably trading when you don't have an edge. The problem with this is that you're again basically gambling; you will take profits as soon as they appear and resist closing positions that are loss-making with the consequence that these will get bigger and bigger.
Another reason is not having any risk management. You go into a trade and you've got no concept of capping risk either at a trade level or account level.
Another problem is that most traders don't give trading enough time. They don't give enough time to learn the trading game - trading is hard people - most either get disheartened or they wipe their accounts too soon.
