The stock market is setting up for an exciting week as Jerome Powell will be taking the stage again to either confirm this latest rally or bring the market down swiftly. I go over why Powell this week will be so important and how it relates to events in recent history that caused some massive market moves. Beyond Powell, several other Fed speakers will be taking the stage during a week with not much economic data. There will still be earnings from companies like UBER & DIS, but now with big tech earnings out of the way, we should be able to see more digestion from what we got last week. All in all, if this week turns out positive for the bulls, it might lead into a bullish quarter. If Powell wants to slow down the rally, all the people on the side of the market crashing may have a chance. After this brief market recap and what to watch for in the market this week, I go over my portfolio and 3 stocks for tomorrow. The 3 stocks I will be watching revolve around earnings and global tensions. UBER stock & META stock will be the pre/post earnings stocks to watch. Then I go over LMT & DFEN stock as plays that can possibly move depending on how things escalate. There was also breaking Bank of Japan updates that can lead to the dollar strengthening.
