The stock market is coming into a CRAZY WEEK as the Fed, SEP, CPI, PPI & Consumer sentiment all fall in the same week. Following all the rate cuts around the world last week, investors will be looking for more solid language coming out of Jerome Powell & The Fed. Not only that, many traders overlook the SEP, forgetting it only comes once every 3 months. Besides March, the SEP has been one of the most volatile FOMC trading days. On top of all this, the stock market has now dealt with an inverted yield curve for longer than the great depression. This has a lot of implications for the rest of the year and the economy, especially if you think a Fed cut is imminent. After this brief breakdown of the stock market this week, I go over my portfolio and 3 trades for tomorrow. I go over Oil stocks and explain why they hold no risk premium compared to every other commodity. Then I go over GME stock and the fiasco from Friday. Finally, I end the trades with a focus on the earnings that will be coming out soon. I close with an economic lesson leading into the State Centered Approach to Trade Politics.
