The stock market had another crazy day today but this time markets saw a big boost in the morning as yields maintained their rally and stock earnings came in positive. We had a crazy move after hours with GOOGL & MSFT but for the most part, no real warnings today from earnings besides SNAP stock bringing up the conflict in the middle east. There was news of more China stimulus and other unprecedented events in China but it seems as if investors in the states were more concerned with the bond market. Despite any good news today however, the market is still in fear as we enter into the final weeks of October and the reason is because we are still trading near the peak of bond yields rather than below the preview peaks. This speaks volumes and with a huge treasury issuance this week, lets see if equities can manage the pressure of bonds and the strong dollar! I cover all of this, then I go into my portfolio and the trades I made today as well as an earnings preview for META stock and their earnings tomorrow.
