When we invest we normally think about the central case, which is the most likely outcome in the future. However, it’s usually the tail risks that cause us to have our biggest losses. Tail risks are high-impact but lower-probability events that can significantly reduce the value of our portfolios.
To help prepare ourselves It can be helpful to consider the tail risks alongside the central case. So in this video, I go through some of the tail risks for 2023 and give you my view on their potential impact.
