The stock market once again went up today, brining the current market rally to 8 days in a row for the S&P and 9 days in a row for the the NASDAQ. If the S&P 500 goes up again tomorrow, it will be the first time investors have seen a rally like that in 20 years. We will have a similar trading schedule tomorrow as we did today but the only difference will be its reversed and that today didn't provide much of a catalyst as some hoped. Jerome Powell spoke today but didn't talk about monetary policy. He will speak tomorrow after the bond auction instead of before, but we do not know what he will be discussing. On the other end, the 10 year bond auction was today and the 30 year bond auction is tomorrow. All this is creating a stop and go approach to the bull vs. bear debate but it seems as if now the market will stay range bound until the CPI next week if Powell & the Fed keep punting. After this market recap and stock analysis, I go over my portfolio and 3 stocks for tomorrow. I will be watching a setup on the SP500 after the bond auction. Keeping an eye on oil after record call buying today and finally watching some of the after hours bank news.
