The stock market saw one of its worst days since end of last year as bad tech earnings and high yields once again exert their pressure on the market. The market was crazy and it was seen in just how fast we unwound the bond rally from Bill Ackman at the beginning of the week. Beyond that, there was a barrage of headlines that only contributed to yields going higher, despite fear building in the market. The cherry on top is that the market closed below 4200 on the SPX and this is the pivot point of the last 3 years where new market trends where formed. I go over all of this and what it means as well as what I think is next for markets as we approach Powell and the end of the month. After this brief market recap and stock analysis, I go over my portfolio and the earnings approach I am taking moving forward, as well as a recap of the criteria.
