In just 1 day, the stock market went from the worst start in a decade to BACK TO GREEN after a flurry of good news and bad news created a Monday rally. There was a lot to digest in the market today but the one things traders noticed was how quickly all the losses were made up. There were comments from multiple Fed speakers that were interpreted as both good and bad, but traders decided to focus on the good. Then all the bad news from Oil to BA stock was quickly bought up at the open as the dollar dropped & commodities showed no signs of inflation. This may not last all week, but with the big data at the end of the week, week 2 of 2024 may be driven a lot more by momentum rather than events. After this brief market recap and stock analysis, I go over my portfolio and 3 stocks for tomorrow. I go over BA stock and how I traded the drop today and what I will be looking for over the coming weeks. I even highlight a simple options trading trick to avoid a mistake of overpaying.
