Jim Rickards said that this is the best single indicator of a recession. Inverse yield curve happens when investors got worried that economy might be in a recession so they chose to put their money in shorter term bond and therefore raising its yield. and also there is massive layoff going on in the tech industry, making the economy goes even worse.
