The stock market broke the uptrend from January today as traders continued to digest higher rates and the impact on tech stocks. All though there was nothing new to cause this sell off, and even Europe & China had positive sessions, the bears took over today, bring life back into the stock market crash theory going around. We covered the market neutrality yesterday, but it seems as if that lack of short squeeze fuel came into play today, but not enough to cause a massive amount of volatility. The SP500 gave up all of the gains from Powell last week and with a weak close like this, it is all pointing towards investors getting ready for the CPI next week. After this brief market recap and stock analysis, I go over my portfolio and 3 stocks for tomorrow. I go over my trade on GOOGL stock, which has had its worst 2-day streak since 2008. Then I go over MCD stock and how that can setup for a potential value stock short. Finally, I go over BABA stock & NTES stock as potential outperformers to the upside.
